This is the shape most homes start with: one inverter, one battery, one meter, and enough usable energy to move the expensive part of the day off the grid. It is an entry point rather than a compromise — the pack is built to be joined by fifteen more on the same bus without replacing anything already on the wall.

What this shape answers
The house draws most of its electricity between four and ten in the evening, when it is dearest and the roof has stopped producing.
A short cut takes the router, the freezer and the boiler controls with it.
Budget rules out oversizing on day one, so whatever goes in has to extend later without being scrapped.

The hardware

Scope of works
We measure the supply, read the meter data and photograph the board before anyone draws anything. Most of what changes a design is found in that hour.
A single-line diagram, the position of every box marked on a photograph of your wall, and a fixed price with no provisional sums.
Storage that can export has to be declared to the network operator. We prepare the paperwork and submit it; you do not chase it.
One or two days on site at this size. The supply is off for part of one of them, and we tell you which part before the van arrives.
Charge and discharge proved against the meter, backup circuits proved by pulling the main switch, and every setting we leave the inverter on written down.
Generation, consumption and state of charge on your phone. We look at the same data when you call, which is why most questions do not need a visit.
